Welcome to My New Studio: A Dream Realized

Since Cabine’s inception, it’s always been my dream to have a dedicated space where creativity can flow freely and my business can continue to grow. I’m so excited to finally share a tour of my brand-new studio with you—a space that has turned years of dreams into reality.

Like many creatives, I started small, working from my kitchen table with tools and supplies strewn across the surface. As Cabine grew, so did my need for space. Over time, my jewelry-making moved into the bedroom, and then eventually overtook the garage. Each step of the journey came with its own challenges, but it also made this moment of having a dedicated studio feel that much sweeter.

The studio itself is everything I hoped for and more. From my custom jewelry bench—where many of your favorite Cabine pieces come to life—to the cozy small kitchen perfect for mid-project tea breaks, every detail has been carefully considered. There’s even a small bathroom, adding to the convenience and making the space truly self-contained. It’s an inviting, inspiring haven where I can fully immerse myself in my work.

When designing the studio, I wanted the vibe to feel effortlessly elegant yet grounded—a reflection of the Cabine brand. Warm, neutral tones paired with natural materials create a calm, inspiring atmosphere that feels like home. The light-filled space is perfect for sketching new designs, crafting gemstone pieces, and hosting the occasional get-together with fellow creatives.

I owe a huge thank-you to my architect, Gen Muñoz of Studio OxEye, who took my vision and transformed it into something tangible. Gen was instrumental in ensuring the studio would be not only functional but also a space that inspires me every time I step inside. If you’ve ever dreamed of designing a custom creative space, I can’t recommend Gen enough.

Another source of inspiration during this process was my friend Luci of Luci’s Morsels. I loved reading her updates on her own studio progress, and they encouraged me to document this milestone for myself.
