SHOWING YOUR CABINE JEWELRY SOME ❤️

  1. A good rule of thumb for jewelry is “Last On, First Off”. Avoid showering, swimming or working out with your jewelry. Chemicals in soaps, perfumes, and lotions can be hard on jewelry. Put your jewelry on last after cosmetics, perfumes, hairspray and other chemical substances known to be corrosive
  2. When not wearing your pieces, store them separately in a jewelry box or jewelry pouch to avoid scratching. Long necklaces that are wire-linked are best stored hanging on a hook to avoid tangling.
  3. When using our aromatherapy necklaces and bracelets, apply essential oils directly to the lava bead. Simply add a drop of your favorite oil, or oil blend, to the lava bead with your finger or a cotton swab. Allow the oils to absorb into the beads for a few minutes before wearing. Avoid applying oils directly to the metal. Always dilute essential oils with a carrier oil when applying directly to the skin. Check out our blog post, “How to Make Your Own Pure-fume with Essential Oils” for a few more tips and how-to’s.
  4. Gold-filled jewelry is best cleaned with a soft jewelry polishing cloth or mild soapy water and a child’s soft toothbrush. The cloth or mild detergent can remove fingerprints or residue and leave you’re your chain bright and shiny when it’s done. Be sure to use a soft toothbrush so you don’t scratch your piece.
